Next Meeting – June 11th
Bonjour Newbies!
Well, since the heat and bugs are here, we may as well go out and enjoy them!! For this month we offer the “Take a hike! Picnic Potluck Pizzazz”. This adventurous outing will familiarize the Newbies with the beautiful scenery at the Lake Laurentian Conservation Area.
We are hoping that someone from the Conservation Area will be on hand for a short chat and Q&A about Sudbury’s fauna, flora and/or geology before we embark on our awe-inspiring hike through the boreal forest. The trail caresses sparkling lakes and rolls over some familiar Canadian Shield. At the end of the walk, scrumptious nibbles and sweet offerings from our potluck selection will replenish our energy.
And of course the Newbies IceBreakers make it all worthwhile!

We shall meet at 10h00 on the morning of Saturday, June 11th at the Conservation Area. The exact location to be provided upon confirmation of the speaker.

The Newbies enjoyed their latest outing at Cambrian College to take in this entertaining musical. The evening continued at Peddler’s Pub downtown. Beverages flowed, food was consumed and laughter filled the place. Les Newbies ont aussi accueilli des nouveaux membres.
Stay tuned for the next event. We hope to get out into the blossoming outdoors for a hike before the bugs get too bad. Or are we already too late!?!

Oliver Twist at Theatre Cambrian. The Newbies will be meeting at 7:40pm in front of the entrance to the Theatre.
You cannnot buy tickets at the door... so buy them at Records on Wheels on Elm street, or Poulton's Independent Grocer.

Sudbury Newbies go to see Oliver Twist at Theatre Cambrian
Hi all the newbies--
Bonjour à tous!!Well, due to popular demand, the Theatre extravaganza will occur on the evening of
Wed. May 11th, 2005. Buy your tickets at Records on Wheels on Elm Street (across from TD Canada Trust). For the low cost of $20 for adults and $17 for students you will be fully entertained with the sights and sounds of 19th Century London, England. But keep your eyes on your pockets and purses for pick-pockets are a plenty!
If you would like to carpool please comment on this blog or post your own! The newbies will be meeting at 7:40 promptly in the Theatre Cambrian lobby with the curtain call at 8:00pm!
