Bonjour Newbies !!!
It is February and the Newbies celebrate their second anniversary. Which means it must be time for a skate on Ramsey Lake!
Join us for “Newbies Ice Capades II: The Return of the Blade”.
Les Newbies célèbrent leur deuxième anniversaire avec un retour sur le lac Ramsey. Soyez des nôtres pour une après-midi de patinage.
We shall meet on Sunday, Feb. 18th at the front doors of Science North @ 2:00pm.
Lorsque nous aurons les joues rouges nous irons prendre un breuvage chaud et peut-être un petit dessert à William’s Coffee Pub au centre ville sur la rue Elm.
Once we have finished our NHL training session and our cheeks are rosy, we will head over to William’s Coffee Pub for some hot drinks and some great desserts.

Art on the Rock!
Bonjour Newbies!
It was great to catch up with many of you at our Art Gallery of Sudbury event. It was also great to meet so many new Newbies.
L’événement a été un grand succès avec la participation de plus de 30 Newbies!
The juice bar was a success as the crowd enjoyed delicious fruit blends such as the “Super Stack Stinger” and “Yellow Snow”.
Of course we had our ever popular Newbies Icebreaker Game. Keeping with the theme, we had a fun-filled competition of a Sudbury version of Pictionary which brought out the artistic talents of many Newbies.
Jenny, head of Programming and Visitor Services at the Art Gallery, recounted the history of the building as well as answered our questions regarding the exhibit.
En bref, ce fut une journée très agréable et nous souhaitons revoir tous le monde bientôt. Sur ce, notre prochaine rencontre sera annoncée sous peu.
