So Sudbury newbies... it is almost the month of May and well we(the founding members) would like to propose an activity for the month of May! For those of you who have never been to see a Musical or experienced Theatre Cambrian (located at Cambrian College), this would be a great opportunity to indulge and experience the Musicial Oliver Twist. Not only will you be entertained and captivated by a magical set and wonderful cast, you will also have the opportunity to see one of the Sudbury newbies in the production. Which one you ask? Well you must go see the show in order to find out.We are proposing a few nights, and whichever night is more convenient for the majority of the folks will be the night that the Sudbury newbies gather.
The show is at 8pm and the nights being proposed are: Wed. May 11th, Wed. May 18th, Thurs. May 19th or Fri. May 20th. There is also the Sat. May 28th matinee (2pm) or the final performance that evening. Tickets are $20 per adult, $17 for seniors, students/children.
Tickets can be purchased at Poulton's your Independent Grocer, Jett Landry Music, Records on Wheels or Theatre Cambrian bookstore.
Sudbury newbies who are interested should RSVP via email at sudburynewbies@yahoo.ca. You can also post if you need a ride or have a car for car pooling. We will confirm what night is best for everybody and each person can be responsible for buying their own ticket.
Meeting time would be between 7:30pm - 7:45pm at the Theatre so that people have the chance to chat beforehand. As well, there is also the possibility of going for coffee after the show depending on how late it runs.
