Next Meeting – June 11th
Bonjour Newbies!Well, since the heat and bugs are here, we may as well go out and enjoy them!! For this month we offer the “Take a hike! Picnic Potluck Pizzazz”. This adventurous outing will familiarize the Newbies with the beautiful scenery at the Lake Laurentian Conservation Area.
We are hoping that someone from the Conservation Area will be on hand for a short chat and Q&A about Sudbury’s fauna, flora and/or geology before we embark on our awe-inspiring hike through the boreal forest. The trail caresses sparkling lakes and rolls over some familiar Canadian Shield. At the end of the walk, scrumptious nibbles and sweet offerings from our potluck selection will replenish our energy.
And of course the Newbies IceBreakers make it all worthwhile!
Nous anticipons une très agréable journée dans cette jolie région de notre ville. De plus, notre groupe continue à grandir et nous avons hâte de rencontrer les derniers membres.
We shall meet at 10h00 on the morning of Saturday, June 11th at the Conservation Area. The exact location to be provided upon confirmation of the speaker.
