Sudbury Newbies fun had by all

We wanted to remind everybody how much fun we had at our last newbies event in October at
the wine and fromage potluck at the Galerie du Nouvel-Ontario. So make
sure to join us this Saturday November 26th(rain, shine or snow) at

What is a Sundog?
Hello Newbies...Bonjour...hola...hallo!Your next mission is to find out what a
Sundog is? You can create your own definition without the help of "google" or the traditional encyclopedias.
It must be funny, creative or absurd. You can use a musical instrument, or dramatic piece to convey your idea.
Alors les ami(e)s, votre épreuve est de définir ce que c'est un Sundog. Vous devez inventer votre propre définition et nous la présenter lors de notre feu de camp. Vous pouvez la chanter, danser ou l'improviser.Veuillez vous joindre à nous lors de notre randonnée pédestre à Dowling suivi par un délicieux souper chaud. Apporter vos enfants et votre chien ou vos grandmères.
Your task is to join us for a hike followed by a warm supper and a campfire!
Bring your own snacks for the hike and good footwear.(not sandals-Raph!)

The Great Outdoors
Hello Newbies!The winter is coming soon but it’s never too late to do some outdoor activities! What?!? You have already put away all your gear because you thought that camping season is over? Well you were wrong!!!
We would like to invite you out for a guided hike/paddle (depends on weather) followed by a warm supper and a hot campfire. And if you want to rough it, you are welcome to stay overnight in a cozy canvas tent.
If you happen to play an instrument (tuba, accordion, oboe, etc) which is transportable, bring it so we can have some fun around the warmth of the crackling fire. Bring songs/songbooks and whatever you think enriches that kind of atmosphere.
This event will take place at
Sundog Outfitters in Dowling (Directions on their website.
Map of Sudbury) on the 26th of November starting at 13:30.
Newbies with little ones are encouraged to bring them along as well.
There will be a cost associated with this event. We are presently working out the details and will let you know shortly.
